The word ‘Metrio’ is derived from the Greek word ‘Metrios’, which is associated with one of the ways Greek Coffee is served. When Greek coffee is made in equal parts sugar to coffee (or one teaspoon of sugar to every heaped teaspoon of Greek Coffee), it is known as ‘Metrios’.

The Metrio Coffee logo and brand identity encapsulates our Greek Heritage with the use of traditional Greek icons.

The Greek Owl symbolises trust and wisdom. It is a reference to our team’s extensive industry experience, great work culture and the honesty and integrity we uphold in all areas of our trade.

The Olive Branch or Wreath symbolises both peace and prosperity. Our branding principle is driven by fair work practices, ethical standards and sustainability principles, which are fundamental to the valued relationships we have with all our stakeholders (farmers, workers and consumers alike).

Our branding position also holds dear the authenticity of our products, with a clear and focused desire to be the very best we can be in our field and industry.
